          As someone who loves to read and write this book was at the top of my romance reading list.
                                               That's probably where it should have stayed.


I love a good meet-cute book as much as the next girly but this just stayed flat. I felt I was struggling and grasping for those cute moments that are what keeps the pages turning. I hate giving a book a not so raving review but I just needed more with this one. Maybe I set my expectations to high, hyped myself up for it a bit much. Who knows. 
It did have some good qualities. I liked the characters and I love that they had a hidden room and swapped notes in it. That factor was the type of adorable I look for in a romance meet-cute book. 
Now would it be my first suggestion if asked, no. Try some Ali Hazelwood first maybe.

He will do anything to maintain having her in his life.  I feel for Delilah because even after taking control of her life, she still is a magnet for sketchy men. She just wants what every other girl wants. A normal happy relationship. Which she thought she had with Logan.  Logan, this guy is a walking red flag. Yet on the other hand if he wasn't so creepy and intense he might have had things play out the way he wanted. Instead he hid cameras around Delilah's life. He blackmailed, and in his mind things had progressed way faster than on her end.

  The Testing - Joelle Charbonneau The front of the book has a review claiming that all fans of The Hunger Game will simply devour.  That review was pretty spot on, at least in my case.  I ate every word written until I found myself at the end.  I even bounced between the book and audio because I could not get enough.  Maybe because it was so much like The Hunger Games.  The transportation method  was very similar.  The testing students seeing the different cities and classes as they traveled.  Being sent to an unknown location to fight it out to the end.  They may have had more people coming out alive, versus The Hunger Games but it was pretty similar.   And don't even get me started on how badly I wanted Cia to react during the officials watching her be tested like Katniss did.  With all that I still loved it.  I rooted for Cia to cross that finish line.  I swooned when Michael was proud of her for finding the ...

  Sunday Supper by K. Sinko Pages : 321 It is December so I can officially call it, this was my favorite book I have read this year.  So much that I initially read this on Kindle, and then had to buy a physical copy because I needed it in my own library. For starters this book felt like I was reading a hallmark movie. It is also based in NY and I have a romanticized version of NY in my mind, which this book captured perfectly. Bella's family was very relatable and I kind of wanted her grandmother to adopt me into the family.  The story starts off with Bella. A girl who just lost everything, and learns that her family has a little secret of there own. A Uncle who owns a lot of restaurant's, she has not known about till now. In the hunt for a connection with her long lost Uncle, she meets a chef. That starts a flirtatious relationship over his deconstructed meatballs and her Nona's recipe.  This book is perfect for a cozy rainy day read. You will end up happy for the c...
